| Please be reminded that some exceptional medical
conditions may warrant upto 6 months of follow up prior to a final medical

Note: Please note that while the time frames indicated above shall apply to the majority of cases, for a variety of reasons some applications may take longer to process than others. Should you have any queries relating to the location of your passport, contact VFS. - These are average processing times only. Some applications take longer to process for various reasons. For example, the following factors could delay the processing of your application:
- incomplete applications;
- medical exam required (additional 2-8 weeks for temporary resident applicants from the date of the medical exam if no complications arise, such as the need for further testing);
- background or security checks required;
- criminal record;
- interview required;
- verification of documents needed; or
- other factors that complicate your case

SUNDAY TO THURSDAY - 15:00 hrs - 17:00 hrs.
Applicants who would like to pick up their passports outside of the regular pick
up times following the first day their passport has been made available for
release can do so. |
